You will join a busy, growing team dealing with a diversified client portfolio and a varied caseload including tax advice, wealth and succession planning, tax planning and corporate restructurings and tax compliance.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role as a Junior Associate/Associate will focus on the delivery of client engagements, exercising effective communication and relationship-building skills, as well as contributing to the priorities of the team. In this role, you will commit to personal learning and development, and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional legal services.
During your tenure as a Junior Associate/Associate, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:
· provide legal solutions to highly complex legal issues while delivering a high quality experience;
· provide legal advice relating to:
(i) Taxation of individuals and, in particular, income, real estate, gift and inheritance taxation
(ii) Succession planning of individuals with a focus on inheritance law and civil law issues;
(iii) Trusts/Foundations
(iv) Shipping taxation
(v) Corporate asset restructuring
(vi) Philanthropy
(vii) Tax compliance
(viii) International tax planning and implementation of asset structures
(ix) Common Reporting Standard (CRS)
· conduct of legal research and analysis.
OUR REQUIREMENTS

In particular, to qualify for the role you must have:
· qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece (Athens Bar Association or other Bar Association membership);
· minimum one (1) and up to five (5) years of relevant work experience;
· a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Tax and/ or Civil Law from a prominent, well-acclaimed University in Greece or abroad will be considered an asset;
· an excellent command of the English language;
· Organizational skills and capacity to be detail – oriented.
· Ability to conduct legal research, interpret legislation and case law;
Preferred skills:
· Previous experience in tax, civil (especially inheritance law) and corporate law;
· Diploma/Seminars in tax law.
