Nelly is an experienced lawyer specializing in energy, utilities and infrastructure, project environment as well as urban and regional planning, related to energy projects.

She advises private undertakings, international investors, financial institutions and energy associations on all aspects of Greek and EU energy law, as well as environmental, urban and spatial planning law. This includes advice on regulation of the electricity and natural gas markets, renewable energy sources, licensing of energy activities, development of energy projects and acquisition of energy assets, as well as on contractual matters related to the generation, supply and trading of energy.

Prior to joining KBVL, Nelly has worked at the Hellenic Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), specializing in the legal aspects of environmental licensing and connection agreements of IPTO’s, RES projects and plans. She has also served as a legal advisor to the Minster and the General Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, to the Minister of Interior and to the Hellenic Green Fund, specializing in environmental licensing of projects and plans.
