He has extensive experience on both advisory and litigation aspects of all kinds of restructuring and insolvency proceedings, and he has dealt with landmark cases where he has developed and implemented restructuring strategies for companies and investors, led the execution of "distressed transactions". As an insolvency practitioner and an accredited mediator he played a key role in the negotiation, structuring, court ratification, and implementation  of a number of innovative ”pre – pack” rehabilitation agreements and special liquidation cases under the Greek Bankruptcy Code.
George also specializes on underwriting and on strategic legal management of NPLs portfolios, and has historically advised the leading players, banks and funds, of this industry.
Prior to joining KBVL, George has worked as a partner in a boutique law firm and in the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU (Brussels).
